Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! My name is Erin Devenport, and I am the School Psychologist at Menomonee Falls High School. I received my Bachelor's from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and my Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition to being licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).
School psychologists have specialized training in assessment and counseling psychology as well as special and regular education. They use their training and skills to team with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to ensure that every child learns in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. School psychologists understand human development, school systems, the Response to Intervention (RtI) framework, and the school-wide Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS).
I work in the district Monday through Friday during the school year and can easily be reached via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or via telephone at 262-946-2295.
